The governor of Lingzhou, Yang Lele, urgently seeks a miracle doctor. However, the heir to the top medical family in Lingzhou, the Xiao family, Xiao Yan, is desperately saving money to marry his fiancée, Liu Qingqing. To his shock, Liu Qingqing is having an affair with Zhang Yuntian and, in an attempt to kill Xiao Yan, exposes his secret, claiming that Xiao Yan can cure the Empress.
